About IA
Illini Apartments (IA) was created by students at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2002. The goal of IA is to provide a free and easy-to-use online marketplace for apartment leases and subleases. Since our service is designed for students, IA is strictly not for profit.

Banner Ads and IA
IA uses banner ads from local businesses and other sources. Though IA will obtain revenue from these ads, it is still not for profit. We use banner ads to keep the service free for students. All proceeds beyond our operating expenses are used to improve the service and availability of the website. IA also displays ads to support other student organizations at the University of Illinois.
